Wow. This is exactly I was looking for. Would buy it immediatly, but nobody seems to sell it (in Germany). Is it still in development?

It's available for pre-order now for a reduced price of $249. I had a closer read of the manual and it's super flexible. Things like the relay switches mean I can midi control the remote switching on a few of my Boss pedals. And the 'midi triggers' allow me to send midi CC's from the computer to trigger the relay switches or anything else. It looks like it's limited to 5 banks (presets) but that's probably enough for my purposes.
Being able to send keyboard messages is also interesting. One of the things I would test this on is deleting the active clip in Ableton, which isn't possible via midi.

Thank you kierank and PèreJacques! The question now is, for me, can I justify the "reduced" price of $249? It IS a cool device. And, I LOVE to spend money on things.....that I end up never using. <Sad>

Well, thanks to your prompting and a bit of luck with one being sold close to me (as new condition for a great price) I now have a Nektar Pacer in front of me

It's a great unit and I think suits my needs a little better.

Hopefully you did notice the Pacer Editor (from StudioCode). It makes programming of the Pacer so unbelievable easy... Highly recommended...
